FAVOURITE FOODS & RECIPES: PART ONE

HEY GUYS ♥

I'D LIKE TO SHARE A FEW OF MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE SNACKS/MEALS/FOODS WITH YOU. THEY ARE DELICIOUS, HEALTHY AND SO MUCH BETTER THAN CHOCOLATE BARS OR CRISPS THAT CONTAIN TONS OF SUGAR, BAD FATS AND ADDITIVES. I HAVE 5 SUGGESTIONS FOR YOU THAT WILL  BOOST YOUR MOOD AND ARE VERY EASY TO PREPARE. HERE IS THE FIRST ONE:


AVOCADO ON ROASTED RYE BREAD


INGREDIENTS:
1 RIPE AVOCADO
2-3 SLICES OF RYE BREAD (OR WHOLEWHEAT TOAST IF YOU PREFER THAT)
PEPPER AND SALT
GOATS CHEESE OR FETA CHEESE (OPTIONAL)
LEMONJUICE (OPTIONAL)

TOOLS:
SHARP KNIFE
CHOPPINGBOARD
TABLESPOON
TEASPOON
FORK
SMALL BOWL
TOASTER

METHOD:



START BY HALFING THE AVOCADO AND TAKE OUT THE PIP. TAKE THE SPOON TO SCOOP THE PULP OUT OF THE PEEL AND PLACE IN THE BOWL.






NOW USE YOUR FORK TO SQUASH THE AVOCADO UNTIL IT HAS A LIGHT GREEN COLOUR AND IS NICELY MASHED.



PUT THE BREAD (OR TOAST) INTO THE TOASTER AND GIVE IT A SLIGHT TOAST.


WHILE WAITING YOU CAN START SEASONING THE AVOCADO MASH. ADD SALT AND PEPPER FIRST (CHECK IF A SMALL BIT IS ENOUGH OR IF YOU PREFER A STRONGER FLAVOUR).
THEN ADD IN ONE OR TWO TEASPOONS OF THE GOATCHEESE AND BLEND IT IN WITH THE GREEN MASH. (IF YOU'RE USING FETA, I WOULD WAIT TO ADD IT UNTIL THE END.) FINALLY A DRIZZLE OF LEMONJUICE WILL GIVE THE AVOCADO MASH A GREAT FLAVOUR.

YOUR BREAD SHOULD NOW BE READY TO SERVE. TAKE IT OUT OF THE TOASTER AND SPREAD THE AVOCADO EQUALLY ON THE SLICES. (IF YOU USE FETA CHEESE, THIS IS THE TIME TO SPRINKLE CRUMBS OF IT OVER THE WHOLE THING)
